Professor Chris Plummer

A practicising neurologist specialising in epilepsy over the past two decades and recognised as an international expert for the clinical application of source analysis. Using his direct experience across both EEG and MEG reviewing and modelling, Chris has a reputation for his patient-centred approach to his clinical and research work. His commitment to capturing details of each patient’s history face-to-face impacts greatly on his ability to carefully review the recorded signals when determining likely targets for subsequent epilepsy surgery.

Over twenty years experience in clinical neurosciences, spanning both standard neurodiagnostic techniques and the translation of clinical research approaches to routine practice, Simon brings a strong technical background to the team. He is responsible for dealing with the many considerations involved in acquiring high quality and reliable clinical data for careful interpretation. Combined with his wealth of neuroimaging expertise in neurosurgical planning for epilepsy surgery from many years in the operating theatre, Simon has the know-how to provide what your epilepsy management team needs.
